Jennifer A. Carter Book Scholarship
A Legacy of "Sisterhood, Scholarship and Service."
Soror Jennifer A. Carter was inducted into Gamma Omicron Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. at Metropolitan State College (now University) on April 15, 1993. Soror Carter was a Life Member and received Ruby Member Status (22+ years of service) before entering Omega Rho on September 20, 2016. Before her untimely transition, Soror Carter was a very active member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. on the local, regional, and international level. The highlights of her sorority tenure include, but are not limited to, being the Western Region Grammateus (1998-2004), International Grand Tamiochus (2006-2008), and a chartering member of Mu Lambda Sigma Alumnae Chapter. Unfortunately, Soror Carter passed away before the chapter was officially chartered on October 22, 2016.
In efforts to continue her legacy of "Sisterhood, Scholarship, and Service", Mu Lambda Sigma Alumnae Chapter created a scholarship fund in her name and memory for deserving students.
